in the shadows,
headed for the gallows;

lock up your daughters;

his sad
clear

that he's got about
a thousand lies?

that sometimes
he's not so nice
to be around?

He walks the silent street
he knows the beat,
he knows it good.

Another man.

Takes what he can

He's won again.
